“Intimacy is not something that just happens between two people; it is a way of being alive. At every moment, we are choosing either to reveal ourselves or to protect ourselves, to value ourselves or to diminish ourselves, to tell the truth or to hide. To dive into life or to avoid it. Intimacy is making the choice to be connected to, rather than isolated from, our deepest truth at that moment."

ABOUT ME...

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has found great

passion connecting with people and listening to their life stories.

I'm amazed by the resiliency of the human spirit, and I find it very

rewarding to watch people find peace and harmony after living with

so much confusion, hurt and pain. My belief that meaningful

relationships are the cornerstone to mental health fuels my

work- we are a connecting species after all, and life is so much

better when we have meaningful people to share in life's journey with.

There is much I still have to learn and my skill set continues to grow. Just like you, I'm evolving and adapting - a constant work in progress! My academics include a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA and my Masters of Arts (MA) in Marriage and Family Therapy from The California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. I've completed Levels 1 & 2 of the Gottman Method and am an IFS- informed therapist I have also completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) â€‹â€‹ as well as Relational Life Therapy. Continued learning and training are an important part of my work as the therapeutic world continues to evolve.

Aside from my professional work, I spend my time adventuring with my husband and three young children. I enjoy running and being outdoors, reading, photography, and staying connected to those that bring out the best in me.
